Does DSL require installing an additional phone line?
I don't have a landline. Can I still get DSL?
Yes. A dedicated DSL line will be installed at your service location.
Can I use my existing telephone while using LocalNet DSL?

Can I connect more than one computer with my DSL service?

Do I need any special equipment for LocalNet DSL?
Besides your computer and a network card (which comes standard on most computers), a DSL modem from LocalNet is all you need.

How will I be billed?
Your first month of service is charged on your order date and covers the first month after your DSL service is installed. Billing is in monthly increments thereafter. No long term contract or commitment is required!
Will I be charged for the time my DSL service is used?
No. LocalNet DSL Internet access is unlimited.
What are my payment options?
Charges are automatically made at the beginning of each billing period from your Credit/Debit card account. You can view or print your payments, invoices and current balance information at www.LocalNet.com/manage
Will my telephone work if my DSL modem is unplugged?
Yes, however if you use a VOIP carrier for your phone service, such as Vonage, you must leave your DSL modem on for your VOIP telephone to work.
How does DSL work?
LocalNet DSL is based on Asymmetric Digital Subscriber Line (ADSL), a super-fast modem technology that can provide data transmission at significantly higher speeds than a 56K modem. DSL uses existing telephone wires already available in most homes and offices.
